This place was also a rare find that we encountered. It was also recommended by a friend and we decided to do a private tour. They offer private tours as well as regular group tours depending on your budget. Private tours offer a lot more interaction time with the Octopus but are pricey! Either way this tour is really fun and where else do you get the chance to possibly hold, interact and learn about octopus. Touching an octopus is not guaranteed as they can be shy creatures and unpredictable, but on the day we went they were very active and we had our fill of Octo play! The tour operators do a fantastic job in explaining the industry and their mission. You get the chance to learn about these wonderful and fascinating creatures and may get an opportunity to touch or hold one. Again the private tours allow more time for touchy feely interaction but does come with a cost. The kids (and adults) have a blast at this. The tour lasts about 1 hour and you need to make a reservation. At the time of writing, this the cost was about $40-$50 dollars per person for a group farm tour and about $250 per person for a private tour. If you are looking for something “dry” and unique to do with the entire family check this place out!
