With full disclosure I am not an avid golfer. I have golfed plenty of times, normally for business functions and outings… but I would not consider myself an avid golfer. However, I get asked a lot about the golf courses in Hawaii. I have golfed a few of them and I actually proposed to my wife on a golf course (long story). However, you don’t have to be an avid golfer to see that the Big Island has some insanely beautiful courses. Lots of the more expensive courses are up north by the resort areas, however there are a few closer to town.
