This beach is 30 seconds away from the condo depending on how fast you walk. This is the beach directly across the street from the condo. This is your best place to experience some of the finest beginner snorkeling the island has to offer. Originally, the spot of several temples and sacred fish ponds Kahulu’u Bay is fed by a 10 million gallon a day fresh water spring protected by natural sea walls and coral reefs where you can see over 100 species of tropical fish and turtles. We have never seen so many turtles on a consistent basis as we have at this beach. THIS IS A SNORKLER’S PARADISE... ideal for the novice to intermediate snorkeler, as most of the area is neck deep calm waters with some spots about 10 feet deep, perfect for exploring the nooks and crannies where all the wonderful sea life reside. The beach park itself includes shady palm trees, restrooms, showers, BBQ's, an event pavilion, and food trucks. This beach and its facilities are literally just steps away from the condo. You can watch the kids play at this beach while sipping a cocktail from the condo infinity pool. Adjacent to this snorkeler’s paradise are the gentle rolling waves where you can enjoy a morning surf, boogie board or afternoon paddle-board. There is a convenient rental shop and surf lesson shack just steps away from the condo. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, surfing, and dolphin watching to your hearts content.
